CHASERS: Bobby Eddins, Michael Cohen

SUMMARY:
With a stacked system in the NW Oklahoma, SW Kansas area and a dryline stretching SE into the DFW area we headed to the east side of Dallas and waited for the first storms to fire. Soon we had towers going up but they were leaning over severely due to strong speed shear and limited CAPE. Finally with each attempt these towers stood up a bit more as we drove east to Terrell, TX. Still each new attempt fell apart as we moved NE on hwy 34 to Greenville. From here we could see the Paris storm breaking through the cap but it was still leaning over and we decided to head south on hwy 19 at Sulphur Springs towards a better looking storm SW of Canton, TX. As we approached this storm it took on a barber pole appearance with a growing RFD arc in the middle. This ended up dying too but looked very much like a West Texas LP that got lost in East Texas.
