APRIL 29TH

A warm front was draped east west across north texas this day from near Wichita Falss to Sherman to north of Shreveport, LA. with a meso low between DFW and Abilene. DFW had a T/Td of 95/74 late in the afternoon. This was a huge CAPE, huge CAP day. We knew if storms formed they'd be Gorilla hailers, and they were.

Ed Cohen didn't get off from work until 5pm so he couldn't chase in far off regions like yours truly and quickly jumped on this storm that went up in Palo Pinto, Co and then split. He took the right-mover which moved SE towards Brock, and got in perfect position to view the meso.

These images start in the Brock area and continue on hwy 171 towards Cresson, TX.
