WEST CENTRAL NEBRASKA, What a long drive! Starting in Amarillo, TX. my target was NW Kansas. After making a non-stop, hell-bent drive from Amarillo to Oakley, KS. TCU's and then 3 CB's became visible to my distant WNW so I continued North on hwy 25 into southern NE. My first mistake was not having a Nebraska Map. My second was taking I 80 westbound. (hint: no exits for 12 miles). All I caught as the storms moved off to my north was a pretty sunset and some hail on the ground. The next day was a "High Risk" bust for me in central NE. I drove 12 hrs. straight to get the rental car home by the next morning. Total miles=7146. I've got blisters on my butt!
